I ordered this set of Othmro 5Pcs Measuring Graduated Cylinders 10ml Lab Cylinders to use in my photo darkroom.I use Rodinal and HC-110 to develop my black and white film, and both require significant dilution with water. It's hard to get the correct amount of developer if you try to pour it into a graduated cylinder that is also large enough to hold all the water you'll need to fill your development tank. I had been using a syringe, but as the level of concentrated developer in the bottle drops, the syringe isn't long enough. These little graduated cylinders are perfect for measuring precise amounts of concentrated developer.I will typically use 10-20 ml of concentrate each time I run a development, so these cylinders are just the right size for me. The base is large enough to keep them steady when adding developer, and the graduations are easy to read. They are not completely transparent, but they are transparent enough to easily see the level of whatever you have poured into them. They stand up well to very hot water when they are being washed.

These Othmro test tube/beakers appear to be great quality and very sturdy. I'm not sure how accurate they are but for my needs, lower elementary homeschool teaching science and math, it should do just fine. Also being plastic I don't have to worry about them breaking. Each ml clearly marked with .1ml graduated markings in between each. Each cylinder stands on its own just fine with wobbling or tipping over.
