I had a love/hate relationship with my SRAM CX-1 brakes as the OEM pads were constantly rubbing on the rotors after hard braking. Not much but just enough to annoy me. Every time that I used my brakes, they would continue to rub a little after I released the lever. These Jagwire pads have a much stiffer clip spring that seems to do a better job of separating the pads when the brakes are released and giving a little bit more room for the rotor to spin without rubbing. Finally I now love my SRAM brakes + Jagwire pads. They also stop smoothly and I didn't have any squeal issues. Just be sure to keep the retainer pins from your old pads as these Jagwire ones don't include the retainer pins.

These seem to be pretty good quality and seem pretty durable. However, they make an embarrassingly loud squeal when it is wet. On the positive side, you won’t need a bell to alert others to your presence!

I use these on our tandem bike and stopping power is excellent. At the price I replace more frequently than needed just to be on the safe side.

They were easy to install and work great. No squealing.
