So, these cables we’re talking about? They’re like the superheroes of headphone accessories—strong, reliable, and ready for action. Here’s the lowdown:Quality Construction: These cables mean business. They’re braided (fancy, right?), which makes them durable without being clunky. Perfect for life on the move.Just the Right Length: Imagine Goldilocks testing headphone cables. Well, these are “just right” for using your headphones while gallivanting around town. Not too short, not too long—just road-trip-friendly.The Jack Magic: Now, pay attention—it gets interesting. The default cable has a 3.5mm jack (that’s the regular headphone size). But wait! There’s more! It comes with an adaptor that can magically transform it into a 1/4-inch jack (the big one you find on professional gear). So, whether you’re plugging into your phone or a fancy amp, you’re covered. The Weighty Issue: Brace yourself. The original cables? They had a 1/4-inch jack, which then needed an adaptor to shrink down to 3.5mm. Result? Heavy cables. Like carrying a dumbbell for your ears. Not cool when you’re on the move, right? In summary: These cables are the unsung heroes of headphone freedom. They won’t weigh you down, and they’ll keep your tunes flowing, whether you’re grooving on the subway or jamming in your bedroom. 🎶✨Disclaimer: No cables were harmed during the making of this explanation. But one did get a little tangled.

Bought a second hand pair of 569's and they were only playing through one side - I bought a new cable and they have worked fine since.

First of all - cable came in a nicely sealed tear open packet so you know it's brand new. All products should be sold in such a manner. The connectors on both ends of the cable also had nice plastic sheaths protecting them. The 6.35mm adaptor in the packet screwed on nicely to the 3.5mm jack. I note the connector ends are high quality with sprung cable relief. The braided cable appears good quality and remaining tangle/snag free. The all important twist lock on the 2.5mm end of the cable fits perfectly into my Sennheiser HD599SE headphones and locks in place. There is a grippy surface around this jack end too so it's easy to twist to lock/unlock - moreso than the official original cable.Sound-wise no discernable difference to the original cable, and I say that as a good thing.I like the fact there are different lengths. The OG cable is super-long and I'm always having to be careful not to run over it with my chair wheels so I went for the 1.5m ABLET which is much better in this regard, but in hind-sight is a little short and doesn't give much room to move - wish I went for the 1.8m now but hey ho, can't complain as it's a fantastic replacement cable.
